Legacy Project Volunteer Scribe Training Session

We thank you for your patience as we coordinate the logistics of starting a nonprofit and determining its scope and service to our community. Some of you've expressed interest in our Legacy Project, whereby scribes trained in motivational interviewing will record histories from our senior adult members. Some of you are senior peers who have expressed an interest in volunteering for this, and some of you have expressed an interest in telling your stories.

Our first training for this program is on Wednesday, July 7th at 1:30 PM via Zoom led by Sadaf Khwaja who has done this program in other spaces with a lot of success. If you would like to participate in our Legacy Project program as a scribe, please plan to attend. ONLY volunteers who register here https://forms.gle/QztvSaTQsZQYWQek8 will receive a Zoom link to participate.

If you do not register using this form, you will NOT receive a calendar invitation with the flyer and Zoom link. This is for security purposes to ensure that only people we know through this organization are in attendance.

AMA Fundraising

Assalamualaikum, please consider supporting Arizona Muslim Alliance this Ramadan. Please share this good cause widely.

AMA unites Muslims, helps mosques organize Zakah, holds events such as Muslim Day at the Capitol, Celebrate Unity, State-wide Open Houses and others.

Your donations would go towards hiring full-time administrative assistant to carry the work instead of the volunteering-based efforts.

This cause it's Zakah-elligible.
